About Diderot
Once a Philosopher who started off as simple translator and journalist and moved on to create and improve things such as the co-founder and chief editor of the Encyclopedia. Definitely was a prominent figure during the Enlightenment. May not have gainedmuch riches in the beginning but he still continued his work, married Antoinette Champion (secretly) and continued on his work until his time.

Temple Stanyan's History of Greece Robert James's Medicinal Dictionary Shaftesbury's Inquiry Concerning Virtue and Merit He has done many works in translations and did his share on the Encyclopedia. He went to get as much as information he can get and he took his time to analyze, observe and understand how things worked and then put it in the Encyclopedia.

- He obtained his Master of Arts degree in Philosophy at Jesuit College in 1732 - He was once arrested and was imprisoned for 3 months because of his opinions in Philosophical Thoughts in 1749 |
